Celebrating 40 years since the release of their debut single in 1980, British hardcore punk band Discharge are surviving pioneers of the subgenre they invented; D-beat. Influencing punk bands and metal bands and being heavily championed by John Peel, Discharge racked up several chart singles and albums over their 40+ year career. Protest and Survive - the Anthology contains 38 tracks, including three previously unreleased songs and new interviews, rare photos and memorabilia.
