KISS – Alive!

The record that forever established Kiss as classic rock legends, Alive! also ushered in the era of the live album. Recorded in Michigan, New Jersey, Iowa, and Ohio on Kiss' 1975 Dressed to Kill tour, the double-record set is chock full of explosions, biting guitar solos, onstage banter, and hungry, go-for-broke performances of hard-rock staples such as "Rock And Roll All Nite," "Deuce," "Strutter" and "Firehouse." The band plays as if their career depended on it, and at the time, it did. Alive! was released as a make-or-break statement for the Kiss and its label, Casablanca. The rest is history as it has gone down as one of the best live albums of all-time and arguably the band's finest offering!
