Morphine - Good (Forest Green Vinyl) (Rocktober 2025)

As part of Rhino Records' "Rocktober 2025" campaign, Morphine's debut album, Good, is being reissued on limited edition forest green vinyl. The album, first released in 1992, introduced the band's signature "low rock" sound, driven by Mark Sandman's two-string slide bass and Dana Colley's baritone saxophone.

The band's unique blend of jazz, blues, and alternative rock stood out in the 1990s rock scene. Their sound was described as unusual, leaning more toward a jazz feel with a wailing saxophone and lyrics influenced by '50s beat poetry.
